President and CEO

Valerie Landell has been The Executive Vice President for the VNA since 2007. She joined the VNA in 2000 as Director of Clinical Services. A registered nurse, she received her Associate Degree in nursing from Morehead State University and a Bachelor's of Science Degree in nursing from Xavier University. In addition to her role in community health through her home health management career, she has been involved in many community health initiatives including diabetes, heart failure, fall prevention, and disaster planning, as well as transitions of care. She is a member of the Leadership Cincinnati class of 2010-2011.

Ethel has been the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for the VNA since 1984 when Home Aid Service and the Visiting Nurse Association merged. She became the Chief Financial Officer of the newly merged agency. Ethel has over 45 years in non profit home health care financial management with 40 years as a Finance Executive. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in management and accounting from Northern Kentucky University. Ethel has served on numerous community boards and committees including Ohio Council for Home Care Board of Trustees, Chair of its Financial Issues Committee, Co-Chairman of United Way Disabilities Field of Service Committee as well as speaker at various regional conferences. Ethel was a finalist in 2008 for "CFO of the Year" award sponsored by the Cincinnati Business Courier.

Executive Vice President of Human Resources

Trudy Schwab has been the Vice President of Human Resources for the VNA since 2001. From 1999 to 2001 she was Manager of Human Resources/Office Administration of Gibson Greetings, Inc., and Director of Administration for Omnicare, Inc. from1992 to 1998. She holds a master's degree from the University of Cincinnati in labor and employment relations and a bachelor's degree from the College of Mount St. Joseph with a major in paralegal studies.
