Caring Awards Dinner
April 2008
Our tenth annual
Caring Awards Dinner held on April
12, raised over $165,000 for Visiting
Nurse Association Charity Care. Nearly
360 guests turned out for the lovely
evening honoring Mrs. Milton Schloss Sr.
(Frances) and Edward Hutton.
Serving as emcee was Jenell Walton of WCPO TV9.
The elegant black tie
optional event was presented by Platinum
Sponsors Chemed, Inc, Omnicare, Inc. &
VITAS, Gold Sponsor, Carl Lindner and
Silver Sponsors, James Winkle, Grant
Thornton, LLC, and Price Waterhouse
Coopers LLC. Guests enjoyed
a cocktail reception sponsored by El
Coyote prior to dinner where they had an
opportunity to purchase raffle tickets
from volunteer student ambassadors
representing the University of
Cincinnati College of Nursing.

The evening's award
presentation, sponsored by Miracle-Ear,
brought the crowd to their feet for both
honorees as the two individuals
accepted their awards for contributions they made to
our community that make it a more
inspiring place to call home.
Following the dinner, guests danced to
the sounds of AirWave Band. For more
